Weld metal has excellent corrosion resistance, especially corrosion resistance of alkali metal.

Nickel 61 welding wire can be used for various welding situations including Nickel 200, 201 alloy and stainless steel, carbon steel, INCONEL alloy, INCOLOY alloy, copper - Nickel alloy and MONEL alloy. It can also be used for welding between MONEL alloys and copper-nickel alloys with carbon steel, as well as between copper and nickel alloys with INCONEL alloys or INCOLOY alloys.
